The Right Honourable Sir Edward Hallihan, GCMG, GCRI (1897–1991) was the Premier of Ibagli from 1936 to 1940. He was a senator from the independence of Ibagli in 1955 until his retirement on 12 October 1988. He was the Leader of the Government in the Senate during the government of Joseph Kenilworth from 1959 to 1963. After his retirement from the Senate, he was succeeded by Joseph Bond.
