Civil Liabilities Act
Long title An Act to remove civil liability for actions of which a person has been absolved of guilt
Date of Royal Assent 19 April 2006

The QUEEN, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and Commons present in this present Parliament assembled, does enact the following:

1. No person who has been absolved of the guilt of a crime in a criminal trial shall be liable for damages related to that crime in a civil trial.
