The Human Rights in International Justice Act
Long title An Act to Enact Provisions Related to the Enforcement of Human Rights in International Matters of Justice

WHEREAS under section 39 of the Constitution Act, 1955, the government of Ibagli is bound to protect the freedom of the life of the person;

AND WHEREAS it is necessary that certain provisions be enacted to enforce section 39;

NOW THEREFORE, the QUEEN, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and Commons in this present Parliament assembled, does enact as following:

1. No person who is guilty or believed guilty of a crime may be extradited to a foreign state if there is a risk that the person is at risk of death in that country.

2. If a foreign state certifies to Ibaglian authorities that the person is not at risk of death, the said person may be extradited to that state under other provisions enacted by this Parliament.

3. If the person who was extradited under section 2 of this act is put to death by the authorities of the foreign state at any time, the Governor-General shall be authorized to issue a proclamation banning extraditions to the foreign state in question.
