WHEREAS marriage has from time immemorial been recognized as the union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others;
WHEREAS the Parliament of Ibagli, representing all Ibaglians, must be the final authority with respect to social policy decisions;
And WHEREAS the protection of marriage as an institution is a matter of great public concern;
NOW, THEREFORE, The QUEEN, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and the Commons in this present Parliament assembled, enacts as follows:
1. This Act may be cited as the Marriage Act.
2. Marriage is the lawful union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.
3. The Marriage Act, 2004 is repealed in entirety.
