Miscarriage Procurement Prohibition Bill
Long title An Act to Prohibit the Procurement of a Miscarriage
Date of Royal Assent Still before Parliament

The QUEEN, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and Commons present in this present Parliament assembled, does enact the following:

1. Every one who, with intent to procure the miscarriage of a female person, uses any means or permits any means to be used for the purpose of carrying out his or her intention:

(a) is guilty of murder and is liable to imprisonment for life or to be lawfully deprived of his or her life should such punishment be lawful at any time in future;

2. Section 1 applies to any person who does aid the transport of a female person outside of Ibagli to procure a miscarriage of the said female person.

3. For greater clarity, "miscarriage" means the death of a child before it has completely proceeded from the body of its mother.
