An Act to Provide for the Health of the People of Ibagli; and for Connected Purposes

WHEREAS recent research has proved that a fetus does not feel and pain before the 29th week of pregnancy;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that freedom of choice is paramount in any matter in a citizen's personal life;

NOW THEREFORE, the QUEEN, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and Commons in this present Parliament assembled, does enact as following:

1. The National Health Act, 1972, shall be amended according to Schedule A of this bill.

2. For greater certainty, no woman shall be denied access to an induced abortion for the sole reason that more than twelve and less than twenty-four weeks have elapsed in the pregnancy.

SCHEDULE A

Paragraph (3) of Section 32 of the National Health Act, 1972, shall be amended to read as follows:

"Voluntary termination of pregnancy in pregnancies where twenty-four weeks have not elapsed"
