Haphonia Ibagli Temple

The Haphonia Ibagli Temple (formerly the Ibaglian Temple) is the 24th constructed and 22nd operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ground was broken on 17 February 1981 by Spencer W. Kimball, the President of the Church. The temple was dedicated on 3 August 1983 by Gordon B. Hinckley, Second Counselor in the First Presidency. The temple is similar in design to the Apia Samoa Temple and the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple.
