First Sentence

The first sentence of an article should incorporate the full name of the subject (in bold) and a short statement of what the subject is. If the subject is a person, the full name of the subject includes all prefixes and postnominal letters. If the person currently holds an office, that office should be the only office mentioned in the first sentence. All former offices should be mentioned in one sentence, placed directly after the first if current offices are held.

Example: The Right Honourable Sir Steven Spell, KP, GCRI, OIM, OIE is a former Speaker of the House of Commons, Minister of Justice, and Minister of Health.

Example: The Right Honourable Marcus Smallegan, OIM, OIE, ORI, MP is the Leader of the Opposition and the leader of the New Conservative Party. He served as Prime Minister of Ibagli from January to February 2006.
