The Ibaglian Broadcasting Corporation, commonly referred to by its initials of IBC, is an Ibaglian crown corporation, and the chief radio and television broadcaster in Ibagli.
History
The first radio station began broadcasting in Haphonia in 1936. In 1939, the government acquired all operating radio stations and created the Ibaglian Radio Service (IRS).
Television was introduced in Ibagli in 1963, and was placed under the authority of the IRS, which became the current IBC. IBC television programs are supported by government funds and advertising. Television licenses were abolished in 1985.
