Major General The Right Honourable Sir Aaron Lastman, GCMG, GCVO, DSO, OBE was the Governor-General of Ibagli from 1958 until his death in 1974. In 1972, he refused to allow Prime Minister Joseph Kenilworth to extend Parliament past its five year mandate. Kenilworth had requested the extension as a result of widespread protests against his policies.
