The New Conservative Party was a major Ibaglian political party.

Formation of a new Party

The New Conservative Party had its beginnings as a small breakaway from the large Conservative Party of Ibagli. Its founder, Marcus Smallegan, was expelled from the Conservative Party due to his voting record in the House of Commons. Smallegan felt that the voting he had done was in the best interest of the people, and felt that the interests of the people should come before the party. Smallegan was relisted as an Independent Conservative, and began the process of making a new Political Party. His new party, at that time nameless, was to be based on the idea of freedom to vote for the people a MP represents, conservative ideals, and new ways of looking at things. As he began to write the book on the party, Smallegan named his new creation the New Conservative Party of Ibagli, and registered himself as a NCP Member of Parliament.
