The M2 is a motorway in Ibagli. It extends from Haphonia International Airport to the M1 near the town of Chesterford. Approval for the road was granted in early 2005. A bypass had long been a wish of the residents of Chesterford, which lied along the only road between the city of Haphonia and the airport. Although the Conservative Party initially expressed disapproval for the project, speculating that funds were allocated on the basis of the strong support for the Liberal Party in the Chesterford electoral district, neither the Smallegan government nor the Goodwin government canceled the project. The motorway was opened in 2009 by Governor-General Sir Steven Spell, a resident of Chesterford.
