The Right Honourable Sir Anthony Kinder, GCRI, KC was the Prime Minister of Ibagli from 29 June 2005 to 15 January 2006. He was born on 16 December 1955 in Exeter, Ibagli, to Jacob and Maureen Kinder, both of Edinburgh, Scotland. Jacob had commanded a minesweeper in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He married Maureen in 1947, and both moved to Ibagli.
Anthony, the youngest of four children, was educated at Thistledowne, St. Andrew's, and Oxford. He was admitted to the bar of Ibagli in 1977. He practiced law at a Haphonia firm until 1985, when he ran as a Liberal in the district of Scarborough. He has remained in that seat ever since. He entered the cabinet of Vincent McNeese as Finance Minister in November 2004, and upon the resignation of Vincent McNeese as party leader and Prime Minister, took up the interim leadership of the Liberal Party, and was appointed Prime Minister. In 2006, he resigned the leadership of the Liberal Party during the 2006 election campaign. He failed to win re-election to the House of Commons in the November 2006 General Election.
Anthony married Jacqueline Harter in 1981. They had no children and divorced in 1983.
